There are many benefits to our farmer’s markets and CSA program.
You will be offered the freshest fruit and vegetables and provided the highest quality produce. The fruit and vegetables are
selected for flavor, picked at peak perfection, washed and cooled, and handled with care. You have the benefit of knowing
where your food is grown, who is growing it, and that you and your family will be eating healthier meals.
Our Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program is a successful part of our
farm business and we are happy to offer it each year to our customers.
is a CSA all about?
A CSA is an arrangement where individuals buy into the farm at the start
of the growing season and in exchange receive a share of the farm's produce. Each week from June through October
shareholders take home a bounty of freshly picked produce ranging from gourmet green beans and heirloom tomatoes to our delicious
peas, squash and sweet red strawberries. The farm raises more than 110 varieties of fruits, vegetables, flowers and herbs.
A large share is for a family of 3 to 5 members and is $510 for 22 weeks. We also offer a biweekly
(large) share for 11 weeks at $300. In 2008, by popular demand we added a small share
for a family of 2 adults and is $335 for 22 weeks. New for 2015, members can add a weekly and biweekly
brown free-range egg share from our own laying chickens. The weekly egg share is $88 for 22 weeks and the biweekly egg share
is $44 for 11 weeks.
CSA is a partnership
between the grower and the consumer. CSA members make a commitment to support the farm throughout the growing season by paying
in advance for a portion of the farmer’s produce. This CSA arrangement guarantees farmers a market for the season’s
produce, provides a more secure income and enables them to maintain their farming way of life.
The CSA Subscription sign ups are due
by May 10th. Our CSA season begins the first week of June and ends the last week of October for a total of 22 weeks.
NOTICE: A select number of CSAs are
still available. Contact us via email at email@example.com if you are interested.

an opportunity for members to order extra produce and specialty items delivered the coming week to your pick-up site. Each Thursday you will receive a list (and a link) in an email of “extras”
you can order from our online store. These items can be ordered by credit card through PayPal starting Thursday afternoon
through Sunday until 9 pm. Some examples of these extras are: Amish pies, breads and cookies, extra quantities of fruit and
vegetables, flower bouquets, fresh herb and flower plants, a variety of cheeses, pastured brown eggs, jams, relishes, goat
milk soap and lotions, Dillner Family Farm honey, maple syrup, salsas, Misera’s frozen organic chickens, fall decorations
and “end of season” specials.
As crops rotate throughout the season, weekly shares vary in items and types
of produce, reflecting our local growing season and weather conditions. CSA members receive the produce at prices that
are slightly less than the farmers market. Our members have priority on selection and availability over our farmers' markets
and roadside stands. Refer to the harvest calendar that includes estimated amounts and in which season they are available.
"Every time we pick up our share, we really feel like we're sampling all the
best of that moment of the growing season..." Jodi/ Regent Square
"Every product we received was of the highest
quality and had exceptional taste!... We loved being able to meal plan with the email over the weekend... It was such a joy
to pick up our fresh products and cook with them!" Victoria/ Plum
just wanted to share how happy we are with your CSA... The variety of produce we recieve is fantastic,
and the quality is superb. We have been nothing less that thrilled with our share each week, and are grateful to have
found your farm! Communication is excellent, and the time or two that I've needed to speak with someone, I've been
met with nothing but kindness. Thank you so much for all of your hard work to provide such great products; your
work is very much appreciated!" With great respect, Melissa/ Franklin Park
"... We have learned to use every bit of our
produce. We will blanche, roast, freeze, and never just throw something away. We have shared with neighbors when
we have enough. We can't wait until next year!" Patty/ Plum
"Loved, loved, loved this CSA. I rarely needed to go out and buy any produce
at all..." MN/ Franklin Park
"Wonderful! I am becoming more and more hooked on seasonal eating because of your CSA... the saddest
day of the year for me is when I have to step foot in a Giant Eagle and buy vegetables after the season ends."
Cale/ Franklin Park
was my first year in a CSA- I chose Dillner's because of the economical pricing/sizing option and the variety you offered
(both fruit and veggies) as well as the option to "add on" (Jane's Specials). Brenda/ Seven Fields
