There are many benefits to our farmer’s markets and CSA program.
You will be offered the freshest fruit and vegetables and provided the highest quality produce. The fruit and vegetables are
selected for flavor, picked at peak perfection, washed and cooled, and handled with care. You have the benefit of knowing
where your food is grown, who is growing it, and that you and your family will be eating healthier meals.
Our Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program is a successful part of our
farm business and we are happy to offer it each year to our customers.
What is a CSA all about?
A CSA is an arrangement where individuals buy into
the farm at the start of the growing season and in exchange receive a share of the farm's produce. Each week from June
through October shareholders take home a bounty of freshly picked produce ranging from gourmet green beans and heirloom
tomatoes to our delicious peas, squash and sweet red strawberries. The farm raises more than 110 varieties of fruits, vegetables,
flowers and herbs. A large share is for a family of 3 to 5 members and is $510 for 21 weeks. We also offer a biweekly
(large) share for 11 weeks at $300. In 2008, by popular demand we added a small share for a family of
2 adults and is $335 for 21 weeks.
(PLEASE NOTE: Prices for online orders include a credit card processing fee.)
CSA members may add an egg share.
Our cage-free Rhode Island Red laying chickens produce fresh brown eggs. These chickens
are cage free and roam in our large open air buildings which protect them from predators like raccoons, coyotes, minks, foxes
and hawks. Their diet is supplemented with cracked corn. A weekly egg share of one dozen eggs is $84 for 21 weeks and a biweekly
egg share is $44 for 11 weeks.
CSA is a partnership between
the grower and the consumer. CSA members make a commitment to support the farm throughout the growing season by paying in
advance for a portion of the farmer’s produce. This CSA arrangement guarantees farmers a market for the season’s
produce, provides a more secure income and enables them to maintain their farming way of life.

best of that moment of the growing season..." Jodi/ Regent Square
"Every product we received was of the highest
quality and had exceptional taste!... We loved being able to meal plan with the email over the weekend... It was such a joy
to pick up our fresh products and cook with them!" Victoria/ Plum
just wanted to share how happy we are with your CSA... The variety of produce we recieve is fantastic,
and the quality is superb. We have been nothing less that thrilled with our share each week, and are grateful to have
found your farm! Communication is excellent, and the time or two that I've needed to speak with someone, I've been
met with nothing but kindness. Thank you so much for all of your hard work to provide such great products; your
work is very much appreciated!" With great respect, Melissa/ Franklin Park
"... We have learned to use every bit of our
produce. We will blanche, roast, freeze, and never just throw something away. We have shared with neighbors when
we have enough. We can't wait until next year!" Patty/ Plum
"Loved, loved, loved this CSA. I rarely needed to go out and buy any produce
at all..." MN/ Franklin Park
"Wonderful! I am becoming more and more hooked on seasonal eating because of your CSA... the saddest
day of the year for me is when I have to step foot in a Giant Eagle and buy vegetables after the season ends."
