Our Story

The Dillner Family Farm.

The Dillner Family Farm has been owned and operated by Don and Jane Dillner since 1991 when they purchased the farm from his grandparents, Tony and Marie Alexandrunas. We are a fourth generation family-owned fruit and vegetable farm located in West Deer Township in Gibsonia, Pennsylvania. Both Don and Jane grew up on farms and wanted to continue with their love of farming. While growing up, Jane, along with her 12 siblings sold fruits, vegetables, meats and eggs door-to-door throughout the Pittsburgh area. She attended Butler County Community College for nursing and worked as a nurse for 22 years before she farmed full-time. Don attended Penn State University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Education. The farm is run by Don and Jane with the help of their children and spouses (from left to right): Jonathan, Robyn, Marie, Dylan, Gabrielle, Joseph and Justin. Their son, Jonathan, also attended Penn State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Horticulture.

We hand pick our produce fresh each day, and that is what we are most proud of. We strive to provide the highest quality fruits and vegetables to our community. None of this would be possible without the strong support we receive from our wonderful customers and our outstanding staff and family. Thank you for allowing us to do what we love!
